My name is Margaret Wesseling.
I am an author, poet, translator.
Born in Alaska and grew up in Vermont. Half Dutch and half American, sometimes Greek. Interested in community, I have lived in five countries and find everywhere the same fear. One would think that a gift of flowers, fruit, the colors of the summer season would warm, open but not always. Is language used to conceal or to reveal? It is true that there were moments of loss, breakage, but something remains. Communication, repetition, creation, history, truth, lies, schizophrenia…
A book of my poems, What She Said, is available on Amazon.com.
