About
My name is Margaret Wesseling.
I am an author, poet, translator.
My own writing life has been shaped by long stretches of time indoors, by illness, and by learning how to listen closely—to language, to memory, to the body, to silence.
Over the years, I’ve come to believe that writing isn’t something reserved for the healthy, the productive, or the confident. It’s something that grows wherever attention is given care and time.
Find Your Own Voice grew out of that belief. It’s an online course for beginning writers—especially those living with chronic illness—who want to explore language, experiment with form, and discover what their own voice sounds like on the page.
